Meet Dr. Alan Levy
For nearly two decades, Dr. Alan Levy has helped patients in Myrtle Beach move and feel better. A former collegiate swimmer and longtime swim coach, he understands how the body works. His clear explanations help patients relax.
Called to Chiropractic Through His Own Pain
Before chiropractic, Dr. Levy was a lifeguard with recurring back injuries who tried to “fix it himself” in the gym. The pain worsened until a friend urged him to see a chiropractor. After an exam, X‑rays, and an adjustment, he knew something had changed. Hearing a mentor say, “You’re a chiropractor. You just don’t know it yet,” confirmed his calling.
How Dr. Levy Cares for Patients
Dr. Levy’s first goal is to listen and communicate clearly. Using exam findings and on‑site X‑rays, he explains which joints are not moving well and how that may irritate nerves. He blends Diversified, Thompson drop, Logan Basic, and Activator methods—his “Dr. Levy technique”—to choose the gentlest, most effective adjustment for each person. “If we can help you, we’ll tell you. If we can’t, we’ll help you find someone who can.”

A Team Approach with Dr. Elaine Levy
Dr. Levy practices alongside his wife, Dr. Elaine Levy, in a warm, family‑style setting. She has prenatal and pediatric chiropractic training, holds Webster Technique certification, and is known for attentive care. Her smaller schedule lets her spend extra time with women and moms. Dr. Elaine also leads the office’s noninvasive body contouring and fat‑loss support, guided by their belief: “You don’t lose weight to get healthy; you get healthy to lose weight.”
Life Outside the Office
Away from the office, Dr. Levy is often at swim meets with his two competitive swimmer sons or visiting Dr. Elaine’s family farm in rural Missouri—”good living” with some of the best people he knows.
